GOING OUT TO SHOWS IS IMPORTANT

Friends, when bands/artists/musicians that you like come to your town, I really urge you to go out and see them. By supporting local shows, you foster a community that grows and attracts even more great acts. If no one goes out to see live music, eventually there may not be any live music in your town. Small actions make huge changes in your community music scene!

This post isn’t meant to make those who are unable to go to shows feel badly or anything like that, it’s just a litle tap on the shoulder to remind everyone to support (when and if they can) to keep their community growing.

Remember when we didn’t have to wear winter coats, and a thin scarf was the only cold-weather-item in sight?

Last time we rolled through the Maritimes, the band and I did an episode of Jeff’s Musical Car. This one’s acapella and features my regular homies Chantale and Alex on bg vox and slappy slaps. Also, Jeff’s child makes an appearance. That kid was singing along by the end and that’s pretty adorable.

This guy just got nominated for a couple East Coast Music Awards, so big congrats to him. Enjoy the video, and share with your peeps!
